Conway BBQ Fest

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! The Conway BBQ Fest, formerly the St. Nicholas BBQFest, is now in its 11th year. St. Paul's Apostolic Church founded the festival in 2004 and the event has grown to over 8,000 attendees in 2014. Conway Area Philanthropists, a local non-profit organization inherited the Festival and continues the southern BBQ tradition in Conway, South Carolina.

  • On Friday, October 14th, the festivities begin with "Anything Butt Pork" at 5:30pm at Riverfront Park, just below Downtown Conway at the Marina. BBQ Competitors from all over the South will be cooking non-pork dishes for sampling. We will have live music, dancing and craft vendors until 10:30pm.
  • On Saturday, October 15th, the "War Between the States" begins at 10am, as BBQers from North and South Carolina defend their claim as to who has the best BBQ. Enjoy live music, crafts, classic cars, dancing and fun.

Conway Area Philanthropists is a registered non-profit organization. Proceeds from the Conway BBQ Fest will benefit Horry County Disabilities & Special Needs' effort to build a new group home for four young men in the Loris Area.
